Bmor are excited to reveal an innovative mixed-use development in Nottingham

Entrance to Sneinton Market
Little Portland Commercial Space

This student accommodation led scheme in Nottingham reflects our company ethos of building places that people want to be, not just homes for people to live in. Our mixed-use development on Lower Parliament Street will replace a derelict two-story building with student accommodation and a ground floor of break out space.

Inspired by the position of this site, at the entrance to Sneinton Market and at the heart of the Creative Quarter, our proposal includes a gallery space. The design process itself is responsive to the surrounding area and offers an attractive demarcation of the market entrance. Especially when approached from Hockley, the building will encourage people to explore the surrounding streets and engage with the plethora of independent businesses which have sprung up since the council invested in transforming the former market into an artistic commercial community.

The construction, which we are undertaking with iQ Student Accommodation, will contribute 178 units to the thriving rental market which serves the universities. Bmor will work closely with iQ to ensure that this development is a success for students, local businesses and the surrounding community. This site is adjacent to an existing iQ site, iQ Exchange, and is motivated by the significant demand for high-quality student accommodation. As a key university city, Nottingham’s economy is stimulated and supported by students, so we are proud to support their presence and provide appropriate housing with conscious development.
