273 bed student accommodation

We were successfully granted planning permission back in October, for a brand new accommodation scheme by BMOR and Aon Prop.

Located at 37-41 Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham, this 273 bed student accommodation, in a mixture of clusters and studios, plus amenity space and ancillary accommodation. The building has been granted an excellent BREEAM rating, reflecting the focus on sustainable development.

The new accommodation is on a complex site, including within it a 'locally-listed' two-storey 1901 Victorian building which has been described as a ‘heritage asset’ and will be retained and restored as part of the development. The site is double fronted and faces both Lower Parliament and Glasshouse Street. Situated within the City Centre Urban Design Tall Building Zone, the scale of the development will reconcile the step up from street level to the Victorian and Edwardian buildings currently overshadowed by the Victoria Centre.
